Hermosa Beach, located just South of Manhattan Beach, is a laid back beach community dating back to 1907 with a one and a half mile pristine, sandy beach (home to the annual Hermosa Open Volleyball tournament and the Annual Surf Festival). It is bordered by the Strand, an assortment of magnificent private residences built along the ocean's edge and the highly sought after rental bungalows with their exceptional ocean views scattered throughout the hillside. Hermosa Beach is known for it's vibrant nightlife and features a multitude of bars, restaurants and nightclubs along Pier Avenue. It is also home to the nationally famous Comedy & Magic club.
